Important

Read your manual carefully and pay attention to every step. Knowing exactly how your system works is what keeps it running safely and prevents damage from incorrect use.

Your Ozone

About the Ozone

Ozone (O₃) is a highly effective natural disinfectant. It neutralises bacteria without chemicals like chlorine, and breaks down sweat, body oils and other organic residues, reducing odours and cloudiness in the water.

Safety

Electrical safety

Connect only to a grounded installation with an RCD / GFCI in your electrical panel; if unsure, ask a licensed electrician. Where voltage fluctuates use a voltage stabiliser, surge-protected power strip or UPS: damage from voltage fluctuations is not covered by the warranty. Never touch plugs with wet hands. Keep the module away from flammable materials.

Installation

Before you start

Switch the chiller OFF at the back and close the 2 tub valves.

Do you already have another extra?

Tick it and the next steps change to match your system. If not, just continue.

Connect the Ozone

The Ozone unit is the last part before the tub.

  • Take the last hose of the route, shown below (if it is already connected to the upper tub valve, disconnect it there), and connect it to the Ozone Side B (IN).
  • Connect the Ozone Side A (OUT) directly to the upper tub valve.
  • Mount the Ozone unit on a wall or another stable surface above the water level: at a height equal to or above the AirTub lid, securely fixed in place.

UV Basic with Ozone

You will find the 2 modules in the box. Connect the UV and the Ozone together as shown.

One power strip for everything

Connect the AirTub and your extras (UV, Ozone) to the same power strip, so you can switch everything off together.

Using Smart Control?

Plug the Smart Control into the power outlet, then connect as shown below.

Never connect only the AirTub, or only the UV or Ozone, to the Smart Control: the entire system goes through it.

Back to your AirTub

Open the 2 tub valves again and switch the chiller ON. If the filter is less than half full of water, release the air as in your AirTub manual.

Troubleshooting

No bubbles come out of the Ozone

The Ozone needs good water flow to work. Put your hand in front of the upper hole inside the tub: water should come out with a strong flow. If the flow is weak, the filter is probably clogged and needs to be replaced.

Warranty & support

UV and Ozone warranty

The UV and Ozone modules have a 1-year warranty for manufacturing defects. Not covered: misuse or unauthorised modifications, improper maintenance, physical damage from external factors.
