    The short answer

A cold plunge for a business needs to handle many users a day: a stronger chiller, two-stage filtration, a water care routine with UV and Ozone, clear guest guidance and fast support. Check capacity per day, hygiene, placement and power, and how quickly you can get help. AirTub Pro is built for up to 20 people a day with a 535 W chiller and dual 10-inch filtration (20 + 100 micron).

In a business, a cold plunge is used by many people every day, often back to back. That changes what you need from it. These are the points we go through with gyms, clubs, hotels and spas before they choose.

    1. Capacity: how many users a day?

Every session adds body heat and dirt to the water. The more users, the stronger the chiller and the filtration need to be. AirTub Home is designed for 1–8 people a day; AirTub Pro for 1–20, with a 535 W chiller built for continuous use. Many businesses with heavy use run two units side by side.

    2. Hygiene and water quality

This is what your guests will notice first. Look for continuous circulation and filtration you can maintain yourself. AirTub Pro uses two-stage filtration (dual 10-inch, 20 + 100 micron). For commercial use we recommend adding both UV XL and Ozone. With many users every day, a quick shower before each use and UV XL + Ozone keep the water clean for months. Replace the filters every 30–40 days. Our water care guide explains the routine.

    3. Placement and power

    • A level floor, with room around the tub to step in and out safely and free air around the chiller.
    • A standard socket on a circuit with a residual-current device (RCD); outdoors, a weather-protected socket.
    • An insulating floor mat against condensation and splashes on indoor floors.
    • Outdoors, shade and rain cover: the chiller must stay out of direct sun and rain.

    4. Guest guidance

Put a short sign next to the cold plunge: recommended temperature and time, “legs first, head out of the water, breathe slowly”, and who should ask a doctor first. Our cold plunge safety guide has the basics you can adapt.

    5. Daily routine for staff

    • Lid on between sessions
    • A quick look at water clarity and the filter each day
    • Temperature and schedule set once in the Smart App, so the water is ready at opening time

    6. Support and downtime

A cold plunge that is out of order costs you more than its price. Ask who you will talk to, how fast, and whether spare parts are available. IceHab supports every system directly, in your language, with a 2-year warranty.
