OZONE System for AirTub - How to install

1

INTRODUCTION

Ozone (O₃) is a highly effective natural disinfectant used to purify the water in ice baths. It eliminates bacteria, viruses, fungi, and other microorganisms, ensuring clean and hygienic water without the need for chemicals like chlorine. Additionally, ozone helps break down organic residues, reducing unpleasant odors and water cloudiness. With its powerful oxidizing properties, it enhances water quality, providing a safer and more refreshing recovery experience.

INSTALLATION & SETUP

  • If you purchased the AirTub along with the OZONE system, you should first follow the AirTub Setup Instructions and then proceed with the OZONE system instructions to connect it to your AirTub.

  • If you already own an AirTub and have just received the OZONE system, please follow the steps below.

STEP 1:

To connect the OZONE to the AirTub, follow these steps:

  • Close the two red valves on the AirTub.

  • Disconnect the hose from the top valve of the AirTub and connect it to the B side of the OZONE unit.

  • Connect the A side of the OZONE unit to the top red valve of the AirTub.

STEP 2:

  • To operate the AirTub with the OZONE system, you will need a power strip with at least two sockets. One socket is for the AirTub, and the other is for the OZONE system. It’s recommended to connect both devices to a single power strip rather than separate outlets, allowing you to control them simultaneously.
*The power strip shown in the image is not included in our package, you will need to use one of your own.

💡Smart Control APP

  • If you have also purchased the Smart Control system we provide for the airtubs, you must plug the Smart Control into the power outlet and then connect the airtub to the Smart Control.

  • If you are also using a UV or ozone system, meaning you're using a power strip, you should connect the power strip to the Smart Control.

  • Important: Do not connect only the airtub or only the UV or ozone system to the Smart Control. The entire system must be connected through the Smart Control.

STEP 3:

  • You are now ready to operate the system. Open the two valves of the TUB again and turn on the chiller.

Placing the Ozone Device

  • The ozone device must be installed at a height higher than the water level. In other words, secure it somewhere, preferably on the wall, at a height equal to or above the level of the AirTub lid.
